“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.”
Sounds awesome the way Robert Frost puts it. But is it really tough to be the kid president? One thing I know is that life has an uncanny knack of blowing up in our faces when we think things are going real smooth.
But, hey! That’s what makes life interesting. If not that, what’s the challenge then? Ask the guy who missed more than 9000 shots in his career, the guy who lost 300 games, the guy who 26 times failed to make the final shot count.
Believe me the guy I am talking about is none other than Michael Jordan. It is never about how many times you fail. It is about the number of times you get back up on your feet. It is about travelling the ‘road not taken’ no matter the hardships. No matter the costs. That is why the kid president pep talk is awesome!
Just imagine, had Oliver and Wilbur Wright given in to the constant ridicule of their friends and family, there might not have been a shorter way to travel across the globe today.
Had Columbus believed the world to be flat like everyone else, he would not have been the one to discover West Indies. Discouraged by his close friend, Thomas Edison, had Henry Ford given up on his dream of a motorcar, there wouldn’t be a Ford Motors today
I could go on, but you get the picture, right?
Pep Talk Video By Kid President and Martin Luther King
There is a reason, Martin Luther King said, “I have a dream” But in order to have that dream to pass then don’t just sit here and keep watching more videos after the kid president pep talk video is over or sleep the entire day.
The dream is just the starting point. It is the corner stone.
Having a dream is not good enough. That won’t cut it. To make your dream count, to make it a reality, you have to get up and make your dream work. You need to back it up with your passion, your zeal to succeed. Otherwise you’ll just be some random guy who sits on the old rocking chair and reminisces about the days gone by. Don’t be that guy!
When life gives you lemons, what do you do? Make lemonade? That’s what everyone will do. I say, trade the lemons for oranges. Then sell orange juice, because guess what? Everyone else around the block is selling lemonade!
Albus Dumbledore rightly said, “It is our choices, which make us who we are.”
So the trick is to choose wisely.
When it comes down to realizing your dream, to walk down the road which has not been walked upon, to do what has never been done before, believe in only four words. “I CAN DO IT”
That is all there is to it. Not a penny more, not a penny less.
Life Lesson Watching The Kid President Pep Talk
The belief that you can do it is the biggest motivator. If you have that, you don’t need anything else. When somebody tells you it can’t be done, buckle up and practice your gracious smile because you are going to need it when you prove them wrong and deprive them of the chance to tell you ‘I told you so’.
Trust me there is no greater pleasure than that in this whole wide world.
Now listen though, do not be complacent or cocky after watching kid president pep talk video. That is the rust you cannot let in your system. Work harder than ever before. Work for what you believe in.
Procrastination is a killjoy. It is the one anchor which drags you down and it will probably be the one formidable enemy between you and you realizing your dreams. Kill it. Don’t let it fester. If you have your plan set, start now. Go. Do not look back or stop to think, what if!
It is better to believe in yourself and do it. If you succeed you are golden. And if you don’t, it is a lesson. You won’t make the same mistake again. It is always a learning curve. You need to learn how to ride the crests and troughs.
Mastering that is the art of champions.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do, so throw off the bowlines, sail away from safe harbor and catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore, Dream, Discover.”
This is hardly food for thought. Mark Twain was right on money! Every minute is precious. Life is filled with never-ending opportunities. So, go out there and make it count. It is your turn to be awesome. More pep talk video by kid president can be found here
